Spiritual Foundation Services

His Eminence Hazrat Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf established Spiritual Foundation in 1992 so that work on spirituality, humanity and morality could be carried out in an organised approach through Sufism to spread the message of love and peace through Spiritual Foundation's global network. Spiritual and educational centres have also been set up not only in India but also in many parts of the world, including: India, England, France, Portugal, Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland, Middle East and other South Asian countries.

Carrying out work on spiritual and moral teaching & training has achieved encouraging & positive results. His Eminence Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf has also established Jamia Sufiya a first of its kind, modern educational and training institute for the revival and preservation of the teachings of Sufism in an structured way at Dargah Kichhauchha (Uttar Pradesh) in India. Alhamdu Lillah! (Praise be to Allah) Jamia Sufiya is directly run under the management of Spiritual Foundation.

His Eminence has also established a great publishing institute known as Spiritual Publications in New Delhi India, where an array of literature and books on spiritualism are produced. Additionally, literature on Sufism and ethics in national and international languages are published. Furthermore, His Eminence has also compiled an Encyclopaedia of Tasawwuf-Kashful Quloob (Sufism) in 7 volumes containing more than 7000 pages. It has successfully been published in several languages.

Despite rendering a countless number of services, His Eminence passionately believes in the following:

Services of Spiritual Foundation is based on sincere effort. Effort is only our part and we are helpless except doing it. If our effort seems to be bearing fruits then it is the bounty of Allah.

Let us pray to Allah (swt) that in this era of turmoil & tumult and the lack of righteous & pious men, the shadow of His Eminence remains on us for a long time. And may Allah (swt) give us courage to play our role in the cause and mission of Sufism. Ameen!

 

Central Management Committee

1.The management of Spiritual Foundation will be run under the guidance and stewardship its Founder, Chairman and Overall managing trustee Shaikh-e-Tariqat Hadrat Allama Syed Muhammad Jilani Ashraf Kichhauchhavi.

2.The Management Committee (Board of Trustees) will work as an autonomous body for the completion, compliance, execution and regular review of Spiritual Foundation's aims and objectives.

3. The establishment of local, national and international branches will fall under the responsibility of the Management Committee. They will be directly involved in the following aspects of the Foundation; the management structure, compilation and review of jurisdiction, rules, regulations and ethics within the organisation in addition to the consultative body (Majlis-e-Shura) and the selection of the governing body.

4.The formation and dissolution of any committee in addition to the selection of the Heads of Spiritual Foundation branches will be the responsibility of the Management Committee.

5.Analysis of local needs and requirements will be made to ascertain whether there is a need to open a Spiritual Foundation branch in a particular geographical area.


Management of Central Offices

1.The Management committee will be responsible for ensuring the auditing of the accounts by a chartered accountant, who will on approval present this document before the Charity Commissioner.

2.All day to day administration, decision making and general running of Spiritual Foundation offices will be the responsibility of Management Committee. All meetings are to be documented accurately and recorded as minutes.

3.The selection/dissolution of members, committees, budget allocation for forthcoming plans and overall management of finances will fall under the remit of the Management Committee. Any amendments or additions that are to be made to Spiritual Foundation's constitution will also have to be approved by the Management Committee.

4.In the event of a disagreement amongst the Trustees and Committee members, the opinion and decision made by the Chairman and Managing Trustee will be final and binding.


Financial Resources and the Trust Fund

1.In order for Spiritual Foundation to accomplish its aims and objectives effectively. An arrangement will be made for capital and financial resources which will be acquired via voluntary contributions made by well wishers and supporters and friends of the Foundation and their families.

2.The Foundation will accept monetary deposits, shares and loans without interest for its Trust Fund. Furthermore, financial aid from spiritual centres, global public welfare bodies and individuals will also be accepted.

3.The Trust Fund will be strengthened through the royalties of published books, through Spiritual Publications.

4.To acquire fixed and moveable assets i.e. property to strengthen the financial stability of the Foundation. It is endeavoured that participation of all those who support Spiritual Foundation will be sought.

5.Any donation, however big or small whether it consists of property or any other type of donation credited to Spiritual foundation will be spent on the public welfare aims of the Foundation. At no time will any of the trust fund be used for personal benefit and therefore the property and capital of the Foundation will neither be converted nor transferred for private gain.

6.Records will be kept of annual income and expenditure. The accounts will be audited annually and presented to the Assistant Charity Commissioner or relevant governmental departments, if required.


Branches in India and Worldwide

1.Every branch will have a Managing Board, and an Advisory Committee, whose Chairman and President will be nominated by the Central Office and will head the branch. The selection of the members of the Managing board and advisory Committee will be the responsibility of local people.

2.All branches according to the individual needs and circumstances of that region will pursue moral and public welfare programmes. This will be under the guidance and leadership of their Chairman and President.

3.The branch will be responsible for income expenditure, management accounts, abiding to local laws and acquiring capital and resources.

4.It will be necessary for all branches to produce a document relating to annual achievements, audited accounts, proposed plans. This will be sent to Central Office. It will be essential that there will be mutual participation and harmony between the branch and the central office.

5.In cases of necessity there will be the opportunity for inter branch financial lending to assist in meeting Spiritual Foundation's aims and objectives.
